Pavilion Community Workday & Picnic – Coming This Spring
The Pavilion is in need of significant maintenance. Since it was originally built, it has not received the routine upkeep required to protect the structure and maintain its appearance. Several issues—both structural and cosmetic—now need to be addressed to keep this shared space safe, functional, and welcoming.
After reviewing multiple contractor quotes, all of which exceeded $8,000, the Board has determined that we can complete the necessary work as a community project at a fraction of the cost. Thanks to several owners who have volunteered their skills, we can repair the structural concerns and, with additional help from the community, pressure wash, re‑stain, and refresh the Pavilion for under $1,500.
To make this effort both productive and enjoyable, we plan to host a Community Workday paired with a Barbeque Picnic. This will give us the opportunity to complete the needed repairs while spending time together as neighbors.
We are targeting a weekend in May or June. A sign‑up sheet and final date will be shared soon.
Your participation—whether through labor, tools, materials, or simply joining the picnic—will help preserve one of our most-used community spaces and strengthen our sense of community.
